# **In Windows 11****, the use of HDR displays with Fences Portals may experience the following issue:**

## If this is occurring in Windows 11, a fix is available through the following steps:

### **Step 1: Verify if the issue is the result of an HDR conflict**

- Navigate to Settings > System > Display > Windows HD Color settings.
- If Use HDR is turned on, turn it off and check if the issue with Fences still occurs.

### **Step 2: If the issue does not occur when HDR is off**

- Turn HDR back on
- Navigate to System > Display > Advanced display
- Disable ***Automatically manage color for apps***
